St. Helens in Washington state in May of 1980 comes beautiful artwork hand thrown by potters of Bee Gee studio. I lived in the area at the time and yes, this was truly life changing for many people. I personally am glad that some beauty came of this horrendous act of nature… this is one of those pieces of beauty. Signed on the bottom with the year of the eruption, swirl of ash, two small chips on the rim commensurate with age and use. This is an amazing vase with amazing provenance.
