Description: This is an 6 1/4x8 1/4 autographed photo of silent movie star Marjorie Daw Daw began acting in 1914 at age 12 and was in over 75 movies before the end of the silent film era. Her last film was in 1929. Some of her movies include "Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm" (1917) with Mary Pickford, Lois Weber's groundbreaking film "Hypocrites" (1915), "A Modern Musketeer" (1917) with Douglas Fairbanks, "Dinty" (1920) with Wesley Barry and Colleen Moore, among others. The photo is in excellent condition. The black you see on the corners is leftover from those black corners people used to use to mount photos in albums. I have been a silent movie collector for 50 years and have been webmaster of the website "Silents Are Golden" for the past 26. I purchased autographed memorabilia in good faith that I felt comfortable was legitimate. However, I am not an autograph expert.
