Description: 1970 Avon Ring of Pearls Glace Ring The Avon Ring of Pearls Glace ring was introduced in 1970. This impressive ring features rows of faux pearls in a textured gold-tone checker board-like setting. The hinged top opens to reveal a compartment that originally held a solid perfume and could now be used for a picture or small memento. The ring is approximately size 8 1/2 (shown in photo) but it is adjustable, with the ends hidden in the setting to make it look like a fixed size. The ring top measures approximately 1 by 1 and is marked AVON. Good vintage condition: on the back there are light scratches and some discoloration of the gold-tone metal. The ring portion is not a perfect circle as it has been adjusted and worn. It is EMPTY. Front is in perfect condition and hinge works well. Please see all photos close up as part of the description.
