Description: This is a lovely piece of vintage barkcloth depicting flowers and birds. It has been serge-sewn on three sides to prevent raveling; the fourth side is the selvage. I cannot detect any snags, holes or tears, but it does have discoloration and smells quite musty--definitely needs a good cleaning. I have tried to capture condition and measurements in the photos. The colors look a lot brighter in the photos. To me, the color way is more moody featuring a light khaki background with peach, greens, ochre, brown and burgundy.
