Description: Today we have for you one Vintage Ben Pearson Model #500 Old Hickory hardwood bow.This original bow has the following features: This model #500 bow was manufactured in 1959 by the Ben Pearson company in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. This bow measures as a nominal 60 inch length This model bow was manufactured at that time with a 20-30 lb pull. The actual pull for this bow is not known, The time period was too long ago nor do I have the means to measure that, thank you. This model#500 is called a laminated recurve bow, Please note laminations, middle and both ends. This bow has been stored carefully for all these years and comes with the original string. This bow is offered in the original used condition, but could be easily improved if the purchaser desired to replace the black tape bands around the leather hand hold. I have not done this because I understand some buyers may prefer absolute original condition. Please note: A “Buy it Now” purchase will include the original forearm strap with the bow, please see the pics of it with the bow.This forearm strap measures approx 6” long x 2 3/8” at the widest point. This strap is the original one purchased with the bow, and in what I would call very nice condition. It’s time for a future buyer to use and enjoy as a single purchase or as part of a collection.
