This listing is for a vintage Berg Larsen metal (stainless steel) tenor saxophone mouthpiece. This piece was made in the 1970's. It is a fat body style, with the straight bill profile, and bullet shaped drop off of the baffle into the chamber. This one comes in a 90 1 M configuration, with the "M" offset to the right. The "M" indicates the medium facing curve, which is actually the longer of the two options Berg offers. The 1 is the baffle number (on a scale of 0/brightest to 3/darkest). The 90 of course is meant to indicate the tip opening. Unlike most vintage Bergs, this one actually measures in right at .090". For reference, that is the same as an Otto Link #6. This mouthpiece is in very good used condition. It doesn't appear to have ever been dropped or damaged. The shank is round. There is some light oxidation on the table. There are no dings or gouges to the facing. There are no indentations in the bite plate. It has been cleaned/sanitized. Please feel free to email me with any questions. Thanks again for looking!
