Description: Vintage B&L Ray Ban Tortoise Blair Men’s 1960’s 1970’s Sunglasses True vintage B&L Ray-Ban Bausch & Lomb USA Blair sunglasses circa late 1960’s - early 1970’s. A handsome wraparound with straight top line. Made in USA. See measurements below. A true classic that never goes out of style. New old stock and never worn, but have slight imperfections from 50+ years of storage as noted in description below and shown in photos. No case is included with this listing. Cases are available for purchase upon request. Inquire if interested. Please note that colors may differ slightly in real life due to differences in device/monitor settings and lighting conditions. Photos are of the exact pair you will receive. I use photo layouts to show max number of angles, but only 1 pair is being sold in this listing. RayBan Bausch & Lomb dark green G15 mineral glass lenses. The lenses are pre-B&L etching, non-prescription and ready for wear with 100% UV protection. Mint condition lenses. No scratches observed. Retro cool brown mock tortoise acetate frame. Oversized wrap style with a curved face frame and temples. Sculpted clear acetate nose rests. There are hairline scratches to the frame (particularly the temples) from storage. See closeup photos. The scratches can be buffed out with a professional polish if desired and are only visible upon close inspection. The inside of the right temple is impressed with B&L RAY-BAN U.S.A. The inside of the left temple is impressed with BLAIR. Hinges operate well. Screws are removable and have been replaced with NOS screws to last you another 50+ years. No tarnishing of the hinges or metal bars running through the temples. The face frame and temples can be heated up and adjusted by an optician for the perfect fit. I always recommend seeing a pro for a custom fitting - we’re all different and it can make a huge difference in the fit, comfort, and appearance. Approximate measurements: Frame Length: 154mm Frame Height: 53mm Hinge to Hinge: 140mm Temple Length: 140mm Lens Height: 46mm Lens Width: 61mm measured horizontally Lens Width: 67mm measured diagonally DBL (Distance Between Lenses): 19mm IMPORTANT PLEASE READ Fit: I recommend a custom fitting with an optician, optometrist, or other equivalent. The temples can be heated up to provide you with an optimal, customized fit. Lenses can also be replaced with prescription lenses. Do not attempt to make adjustments on your own! If done improperly you can cause irreparable damage. I don’t take returns and especially cannot be of assistance if any adjustments (professional or otherwise) have been made or attempted. Cleaning and Care: I recommend using a hard or semi-hard case for storage and optimal protection. Rinse glasses with cool water if they become dusty and allow them to dry before cleaning with a soft microfiber cloth and lens cleaner. Never clean with a dry cloth alone. Do not leave sunglasses in direct sunlight and/or extreme temperatures for extended periods of time, such as a car glovebox. Hinges and emblems may be polished with a silver polishing cloth. They may be lubricated with WD-40 if needed. Condition: These are vintage sunglasses and my family has been the only owner. They are not perfect. Do not expect perfection or you will be disappointed. They are 50+ years old and are in vintage condition. They have never been worn. They almost certainly need a proper fitting by an eye specialist. Condition is subjective and based on my personal expertise, but is still an opinion nonetheless. Evaluation of condition takes into consideration the condition of a given pair relative to others of the same or similar model, from the same time period and brand. Questions, Shipping, Return Policy: If you have any questions please ask. I’m happy to help. Please read full description and view all photos with zoom as they are part of the description. Final sale. I ship in crush proof boxes and package ever pair with great care and lots of bubble wrap and cannot combine shipping. Should you have any issue with your order, please reach out as soon as possible so I can help. Guaranteed authentic. If you are not familiar with vintage RayBans, please do your research so you know what to expect. I can help direct you to some resources. Check out my other listings and positive reviews!
