Description: This very vintage (1930s-1940s) handbag is crocheted in a “popcorn” pattern and features a translucent amber frame made of an early plastic (appears to be celluloid) with leaves and a flower at the top. It has a snap closure on a crocheted band and a crocheted handle. The inside is lined in fully intact black satin with blue and pink flower ribbon along the opening. The purse is 9-1/2” wide x 7-1/2” tall, plus the handle. In remarkable condition for its age.
