Description: Presenting a 4-piece set of original Blefeld & Co. Portugal gold rim stemware wine glasses. The design is a sleek mid-century modern style with a double-banded gold rim 5 oz wine glass atop a footed stem. Each glass measures approximately 4 5/8” x 2” x 2 1/8”. Vintage/not new; maker’s mark no longer visible. These are made in Portugal and estimated to have been originally purchased in 1968 when the Jeannette Glass Company of Pittsburgh, PA began importing the Blefeld & Co. Glass from Portugal to the Northeastern US market. These are vintage/not new; some wear to the gold trim is visible on each glass.
