Description: vintage book History of Seiwa College Japan Pearle McCain Hazen AR. The book was published in 1947. Pearle McCain was a Methodist Missionary from Hazen Arkansas who taught both in China and Japan. She taught at Seiwa College for girls from about 1951 until 1971. She returned from Japan in 1971 and became a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Little Rock. Her papers are at the Little Rock United Methodist Museum in Little Rock. There are some loose photos with the book of the school and one of Ms. McCain. I assume the book belonged to Ms. McCain at some point.
