Description: Bottecchia Vintage Steel Road Bike with Campagnolo Athena 8 speed components and Campagnolo Shamal alloy wheels. Built with Columbus SLX steel tubing, the best you could buy in it's day. An absolutely stunning bicycle in great condition. Paint is nearly perfect but does have some nicks, particularly around the front derailleur. Fork is chrome plated and has no rust or pitting. Fork is a thin aero style that is unique and a work of art.I built it with Campagnolo Athena parts with Chorus shifters. They work great and the bike rides like a dreamWheels are polished silver alloy Camagnolo Shamal that are perfectly straight and round and spin very smooth. Seat tube meausures 57cm center to center, 58.5 center to topTop tube meausures 56cm center to centerThe setup in the pictures fits me - I'm 5'10" with a 32.5" inseam. This bike, to me, it like a piece of art. It's been one of my favorites since I built it. I love how it rides and it looks amazing.
