Description: This unique vintage butterfly jewelry set includes a lovely butterfly pin/brooch and two pretty earrings. These were found at an estate sale in the box pictured although I don't think it would have been the original one. They are all handpainted, beaded and crafted. The beautiful wings are thin and so delicate and possibly made from Bakelite. Their tiny antenna are hand beaded and overall they are a unique and rare set of vintage costume jewelry that were made sometime in the 1950's. The span on the pin measures 2 1/2" across and the earrings are 1" across. There is a stone and antenna missing on one of the earrings. I have not seen anything quite like this elegant jewelry set before and they would make a beautiful addition to your butterfly or vintage jewelry collection.
