Vintage c 1940 STEP DESIGN Floral Photo Locket Pendant

This beautiful and unusual locket reflects classic Art Deco styling in the desirable "step" design for the shape of the locket. Three of the rectangular bars are engraved with a floral design, while all five have two variations of a border on the front of the locket. The back was left blank by the manufacturer, where the owner had some engraved personalization. It says, "JOE TO MARY 1-26-40," which means the locket was probably made in 1939. It is unknown whether the two photos show Joe and Mary, but they are great pictures. The locket has its original photo frames and photo covers. It also has its original engraved bail. Condition: Excellent! Beautiful, like new condition, which makes me think this locket must have been cherished.
