Description: This is an original Cairns Bros. Chicago 880 style black fireman/firefighter helmet. It is in used condition and the internal specifications indicate this helmet was built for use by the Chicago Fire Dept. This helmet was used by the Chicago Fire Dept. and shows signs of wear and some tar marks are affixed to it. Overall the helmet is still in good condition with no cracking. It has a smooth finish and the chin strap is still affixed. The back D ring is broken, and the front holder is bent.
