Description: Vintage Cara Nome Langlois New York Rouge and Powder Compact in great condition. The hinged, silver-tone case is textured on the front and back and features the Cara Nome basket logo with a blue background. A flip-up latch allows the case to open revealing a tri-fold design which houses a polished, reflective metal mirror, a well with cake rouge, an applicator pad and an empty compartment. Some of the original rouge remains. A few tiny spots of verdigris/patina on the front finish in two places. It is a perfect addition to any collection of vintage vanity items and would make a great display piece.
