Description: A huge pendant of a tiger in the mountains carved out of green aventurine. The pendant is on a necklace of 6 mm aventurine beads in various shades of green. My parents visited China in the 2000s and this was one of their finds from there. Pendant is 34 mm x 42 mm in diameter and 8 mm at the thickest part.The weight of the whole necklace is about 22 g.The necklace is 24" long. They also bought large carved Fu pendant (see "Large Vintage Carved Chinese Fu Green Aventurine Jade Stone Disc Pendant 40mm") in an identical box but that has a tag with Chinese on it. I assume that the information on that tag pertains to this item as well. According to Google, the tag translates thusly: National Jewelry and Jade Supervision Inspection center certificate Aventurine (东陵石)
