Vintage CASE XX 1940-1964 5220 "Peanut" Genuine Stag Handles

Description: This is a vintage Case 5220 “Peanut” pattern pocket knife. The tang stamp is CASE XX 1940-1964.The knife is 2-3/4” closed with brass liners and pinned oval CASE shield. The blade steel is CV (carbon) steel.Both blades have strong snap with half stops.Both blades are tight with no side-to-side wobble.Genuine stag handles have great color, front has no cracks.The back handle has an ultra-fine line from the lower handle pin to bottom bolster - see photos.Used, carried, very lightly sharpened. Both blades are full with much of the factory finish, patina and staining as the photos show.
