Description: This is a vintage Case 6318 Sh Sp SSP “Medium Stock Knife” pattern pocket knife. The tang stamp is CASE XX STAINLESS USA 2 dot 1978.The knife is 3-1/2” closed with nickel silver liners and pinned oval CASE shield.The blade steel is stainless steel.All blades have strong snap.The blades are all tight with no side-to-side wobble.The jigged bovine bone handles have what Case collectors refer to as “Appaloosa” coloring due to the dark coloring with white areas.The handles have no cracks or damage.Mint - never used, carried, or sharpened. Original factory blade finish and edges. There is no original box, as when these knives were made, Case boxed knives in bulk, not individually.The knife will be shipped wrapped in a new Case anti-tarnish wrapper and in a recent Case box.The handles on this knife were crafted from South American Zebu cattle shin bone. Genus/Species - Bos indicus or Bos taurus indicus.
