Description: Vintage cast black eagle emblem made for the exterior of a house wall or door. Made of durable, weather resistant plastic with perfectly-cast, realistic features & two hanging holes on either wing. Lovely to collect, re-use or re-purpose. This emblem was found on the lower section of one porch door of the wrap around porch on my 1900 Victorian home! From my house to yours.....just waiting for you to make it so! Eagle measures 14 1/2" long x 4" wide. It is made of very hard plastic that has been cast in a mold to resemble an eagle. It is vintage from the 1960s. Some light patina & weathering due to age & outdoor elements. One tiny chip on the bottom of the left wing. Not noticeable when hanging flat & in a lower position. Could easily be touched up with a dollop of paint or even a sharpie. ** Please note there is NO OTHER PAINT LOSS on the emblem, my photos have a glare from afternoon light that has cast a shadow in some of them.** Black color is uniform & solid through out, no fading, & still pops with crisp color!
