Description: The KING of the Woods is a huge folding hunter Cattaraugus was well known for. They closed in 1963. They produced some very well made knives through the years. The grooved bone handles are chip and crack free. The liner lock works as should. The blade has some wear and blade loss. Model 12829 is marked on back of the tang. A heavy knife. I have seen these go from 400 up to two thousand dollars depending on condition. Every collector should have one.
