Vintage Challinor Taylor & Company Blue Milk Glass Basket Weave Bowl ~ 9.5”

Description: This vintage, or possibly antique, Challinor, Taylor & Company bowl features a basket weave design with an lattice/open scalloped edge, and it would make a lovely Easter centerpiece with grass and colored eggs. It is made of baby blue milk glass, it has a diameter that measures 9-1/2 inches and it is in very good*, gently used condition. *Please note that there are some minor manufacturing imperfections, including tiny (pin point) impurities in the glass and hairline marks that were created when molten glass was pressed in to a mold, however the structure of the bowl is sound. Challinor, Taylor & Company, of Tarentum, Pennsylvania, produced opaque glass in the late Victorian period. I cannot precisely date the piece, however it is possible that it was made before 1900.
