Description: ***********FOR PARTS/REPAIR - The Ronda 317P manual wind movement does not run as the crown cannot be wound. At a minimum it's likely that the mainspring needs to be replaced. The time can be set without issue and both the day and date wheels roll over perfectly as they should. A complete overhaul is required.***********This vintage 1970's Chateau, which came from the estate of its original owner, has a lovely matte black "SWISS MADE" signed dial and the lume, which remains fully intact and emits a quick burst glow after being exposed to bright light, has aged gracefully. The silver bezel, which shows wear and rotates bidirectionally with an appropriate amount of tension, presents nicely. The chrome-plated case shows considerable wear with minor signs of brassing. The outer edge of the case back is stamped "WATERRESISTANT SHOCKRESISTANT SWISS MADE 5 ATM STAINLESS STEEL BACK" with "91.JU" stamped in the center. The inside of the case back is stamped "E. GLUCK TRADING CO" followed by "SWISS." The crystal needs to be replaced. The 1 jewel unadjusted Swiss "E GLUCK TRAD. CO YY" stamped Ronda 317P manual wind movement with quickset date function does not run as the crown cannot be wound. At a minimum it's likely that the mainspring needs to be replaced. The time can be set without issue and both the day and date wheels roll over at 12 am. The quickset date function works flawlessly by manually moving the hands counterclockwise. A complete overhaul is required. This watch measures approximately 36 mm excluding the crown, approximately 39 mm including the crown and approximately 20 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the bezel, is approximately 10 mm. Including the crystal thickness measures approximately 11.5 mm.
