Description: VINTAGE CHINESE CHESS SET XIANGQI in BEAUTIFUL WOOD BURNT WOOD BOX - NOS This Vintage Chinese Chess Set Xiangqi in the Beautiful Wood Burnt Wood Box has a label on the bottom of the box that I believe indicates it was made in Russia, but since there are no other marks or labels and the only other print is on the folded game board printed with Chinese Characters, I honestly do not know where it was made. The box with the hinged lid is 6 1/4” square and 2” deep, the 32 game pieces still sealed in the plastic wrap are 1 1/8” wide and 1/2” thick. The folded paper game board apparently was torn years ago and although the pack of game pieces was never opened, the paper board had been torn and taped.
