Description: Vintage Chinese Fine Silver Vermeil Carnelian Agate & Turquoise Necklace This vintage necklace features a showy array of components including graduated carnelian orbs, twisted and dimpled silver nuggets with ring spacers and two silver filigree spheres encrusted with half-beads and turquoise cabochons. The metals are all covered in a warm gold wash that remains almost 100% intact, the carnelian orbs measure from 17.0 to 14.2-mm (11/16 to 9/16-inches), the metal spheres measure 17.0-mm (11/16-inches), and the necklace closes with a large and sturdy fold-over clasp marked "China". In excellent condition with a small chip and hairline to one bead, the necklace tests positive for fine, 999/1000 silver beneath the gold wash, measures 17 1/4-inches long and weighs 79.4 grams.
