Description: I acquired this piece from an estate sale. I had a message from a knowledgeable person and they gave me more information on this instrument. (I would like to thank them. This was very informative and I am eternally thankful) "Richards RMC, manufactured by the Richards Music Corporation in Elkhart, Ind. Richards RMC was incorporated by Paul Richards after he bought Martin Band Instrument Co., Blessing, and Reynolds, and combined them into one company to sell instruments to school band programs. Richards RMC made and furnished all of the instruments used in the movie "The Music Man". The company lasted 1961 until it's liquidation in bankruptcy in 1964."
