Description: The Clauss Cutlery Company, which makes scissors, shears, and other cutlery, was founded in 1877 by John and Henrie Clauss in Elyria, Ohio as Elyria Shear Works. At one point, Clauss was the world's largest manufacturer of scissors and shears. In the 1880s, Clauss moved to Ohio Avenue in Fremont, Ohio using new machinery. Since 2004, the Acme United Corporation has owned Clauss Cutlery. Still nice and sharp. Measure 8.25”.
