Please see photos, actual handbag.Vintage Coach Duffel Handbag This is a magnificent, rare vintage Coach and if the size doesn’t matter, look no further. This is the Coach Duffle Sac Model 9085, in the gorgeous colour of Red, which is one of the largest of the Full Grain (Thick Leather) Cowhide Totes ever made by Coach. A highly coveted Coach, it is from a private collection and it is in excellent, unrestored condition inside and out.All of the later and newer totes are made of very thin leather. But there are none quite as impressive and will leave no doubt of its quality as this tote. There are many large totes that will easily fit INSIDE this Duffle Sac with room to spare.When Bonnie Cashin designed for Coach from 1960 to 1972, she believed in large amounts of leather. A Coach made of the extra-thick leathers in the size such as this treasure cannot be purchased today, as the cost would be astronomical.Everything on this Coach is massive. The buckles are 1 ¾ “square of thick solid brass. The brass zipper track is a full 3/8 of an inch wide. The brass eyelets in the strap are ¼ “inner diameter. From end to end the top opening measures 17” wide.Everything on this Coach is also spotless clean inside and out. Inside, as seen in the pictures, there are a few faint ink marks that are minor, insignificant, and of no issue. Completely unnoticeable. There is no wear on the piping. No stains, no scuffs, no tears, and no fading. The leather has that rich patina that gives it so much character. The suede inside is like velvet it is so soft and smells of quality leather inside.There is a single floating slip pocket with the creed and registration numbers: -9085 below. The color is Red Glove-Tanned Cowhide. It is so vast that it is stunning to see leather so rich and thick.The original hang tag is missing.The leather is even in color, the piping is intact, and the outside bottom is clean with no stains. All of the solid brass is clean with no tarnish.This is a Coach that will bring compliments and looks of envy whenever you carry it. It is a fabulous Coach that is a genuine vintage that will serve you for many years to come. It is also a true collectable. There are not many of these that are like this out there as collectors hold on to them.Measures in at 9 ½” in diameter at the bottom tapering to 17” at the top.
