Vintage Coleman Protect-A-Lite Table Lamp Bug Guard Original 1910's Very Rare

Description: Up for sale today is an Original Coleman Protect-A-Lite Bug Guard for your vintage Table Lamp. This one is the early smaller version that covered and protected your mantles from the damage caused by flying insects. There are patent dates of September 15, 1908, and November 11, 1919 stamped into it. A Protect-A-Lite can be seen in the Terrence Marsh web site in the "Coleman US lamps beginning in the mid teens" category. I have included that picture. (My Protect-A-Lite is all that is for sale in this listing). This protect-a-lite bug guard is still in very usable condition. You will need the clamps that attach it to the top shade bracket that goes on the Coleman Quick Lite table lamps of the 1910's - 1920's, as they are not included, but would be easy to make. These early small Protect-A-Lite bug guards are extremely rare and hard to find.
