Description: Here is a brand new vintage 125 ml/4.4 oz tall spray bottle of the classic Extract of Mysore Sandalwood from Crabtree & Evelyn that was discontinued decades ago. This is new old stock that is very slightly low-fill (95% full), perhaps due to evaporation over the decades.. When I check the cap, it smells divine. Back then, the brand used real Mysore sandalwood from India whose export is now banned due to overharvesting, but this bottle was released in 1983 (see photo of back of label) back when Mysore sandalwood was still plentiful. The bottle is tall and has rounded shoulders and a colorful illustration of a person atop an elephant. Perfect to round out your perfume collection and experience the vanished beauty of true Mysore.
