Item Description: This auction is for an old straight razor that was recently purchased from a local estate. It is marked The Crater Guarded Razor on one side of the blade part, the other side has the pat dates on it. The blade shows wear and has some tarnish spots. The handle has come unglued from one end (see pic 7). The handle also has some scratches and you can see where the handle was carved out some to accept the blade guard piece (see pic 8).There is a metal box that the razor is in. This box shows scratches and tarnish and need some cleaning. The outer cardboard box is marked The Crater Guarded Razor Co, Factory - Constantine Mich, Gen Offices - Columbus O, Kindly read directions for removing and replacing guard before attempting to do so. This box shows heavy wear with staining and one of the top corners is split. The top is also pushed down some. Please take a look at all of the pictures for condition.
