Description: This unique combination salt and pepper is referred to as Four Donuts. The bottom features the Dansk name and the designer’s initials: JHQ, Jens Harald Quistgaard. He formed Dansk in 1954 with American entrepreneur Ted Nierenberg. Dansk has become an internationally recognized flatware and cookware company, but its beginnings were in Quistgaard's teak pepper mills. Salt is loaded through the top of the mill and dispensed by eight salt holes. The bottom of each mill features a removable black piece that holds the grinding mechanisms in place and gives access to the area where unmilled salt or pepper is stored. Infrequently used, the mill is in very good condition.
