Information on the back of container:"The Plastic Repair Material in Powder Form" Meets a thousand repair needs. Just add water, mix and use. Hardens in about thirty minutes. You can saw, chisel, sand, polish, color, mold or paint it. Sticks and stays put. Will not shrink. Permanently adheres to wood-cement-plaster- tiles-composition-stone. Fills cracks in walls or woodwork-joints-knots- nail or screw holes. Use to repair furniture-set loose handles-fill screw holes- set tiles- repairs on boats (not caulking)-mold novelties- hundreds of other uses. Will withstand weather if kept painted on all exposed surfaces. Directions on the back of the bottle reads as follows: Pour about 3 parts powder to 1 part water in clean dish. Mix with putty knife to consistency of commercial putty. Prepare only quantity needed as it sets quickly and cannot be remixed. Small amount of vinegar or milk added to water when mixing will retard hardening. Apply putty firmly, smoothing off with putty knife. Allow to dry about one hour. Use sandpaper or knife for smoothing and finishing. Caution: Putty will withstand either, if kept painted. However, on outside work paint will peel from damp water putty; putty will absorb moisture, as from underneath porch floor. Where there is movement, as between floorboards, expansion and contraction may cause water putty to come loose. Coloring: Putty dries to a natural cream color; it can be mixed easily with dry colors. These Dry Earth colors are available through major paint distributors and their outlets. We are not professionals.
