This type of patch was only issued when you sent $10 for a camping club sponsored by DX Oil & Gas. Remember, $10 was a bunch of money back in 1970, when it cost about $4 to fill your tank up. DX oil and Gas I believe was purchased by Sunoco years ago, but before that, DX offered customers all kinds of perks if they joined this club. Therefore, these are pretty rare and are in spectacular unused shape. This is from the early 1970s as it is a sew on gauze type. About 3" high and 5+" across and near mint/ Mint condition, and never applied. This one is in great shape, this is very nice, near but not perfect.. These are for collectors and grab a few and put together a neat vintage racing jacket. Nice condition and never used, this is part of a huge collection of vintage patches that were stored in a box for years. Tough to find item.
