He used it to fill his chain saw while cutting wood all summer for the wood stove. I have cleaned it up the best I can. It is from the 1970's, if not earlier. Sorry, there is no cap for the spout. Overall, good condition. Normal dents and dings that give this metal gas can so much character. As far as I know, it would still hold gas but probably best used for display. Sold as-is, shipped via UPS ground.
