Description: Eames RKR wire rocker side chair with original blue hopsak cover. Structurally sound. The chair is 28 inches high, the seat is 19 inches across, the length of the rockers is 27 inches, and the height of the seat from the floor is 17 1/4". The fabric is in excellent condition. The upholstery cover is easy to remove. There is a small residue mark in the center of the seat, visible in the first photo. Note from the Eames site: None of the wire series have makers marks in the seat or frame and this includes the RKR. The only identifying label can be found on the upholstery. See last photo for identifying label. The chair was made in the 1950s and 1960s and the rocker design was discontinued in 1968.
