Description: Greetings vintage audio lovers and Electro-Voice fans ! For your consideration is a single Electro-Voice SP15 Hi-Fi speaker in very good condition. This speaker has a huge AlNiCo magnet and an impedance rating of 16 ohms. It tests 9.8 ohms on my Fluke 77 multi-meter. I hooked it up and listed to it for awhile. It sounds great ! I have had the pleasure to own several pairs of SP15’s over the years. I was marketed as a Full Range speaker,but was often used as a Low Frequency driver a.k.a Woofer in a three way system. In my opinion that is where this speaker really shines ! In the proper sized cabinet,it has some of the best bass response I’ve ever heard. I had them in very large cabinets with EV mids and tweeters and received a lot of compliments. If I hadn’t downsized a few years ago, I would keep this and the other one I have listed and resurrect that system ! I DO have another speaker like this one listed separately in order to ensure proper shipping charges. Buyers that are interested in both speakers will be given preference !
