Description: Vintage Embossed Medieval German Style Lusterware Beer Stein Made in Japan *** 5-5/8" tall, with a base diameter of 3-1/2", and measuring about 5" from the back of the handle to the opposite side of the mug. One side depicts a pair of drinking buddies at a pub table, while the opposite side depicts a town on a mountainside. Colors are marigold, golden-brown, green, gold, beige, brown, navy, and black. The bottom of the mug is imprinted JAPAN. We believe this item was created in the 1950's. In gently used condition with no chips, cracks, or scratches in the glazing.
