When gently moving the lever, it feels like the ink sac has hardened and deteriorated from age. The nib is broken and needs to be replaced. The plastic jewel at the end of the barrel has a small nick. The plastic body and cap have no chips or cracks, but do show normal surface wear such as light scratching and abrasions from handling.
