Description: This sweet, Hand-made THROW is cut from the remains of a lovely Vintage bedspread that was stained. The ground color is a soft BUTTERCREAM, and the floral Hobnails are White. The shape is rectangular and was cut from the foot-end of the spread, and the Pom-Poms run along the sides, which are rounded along each side and along the bottom hemline. The top seam is simply turned under with NO Pom-Poms, as was on the original bedspread. There is no label on this bedspread, however, another seller has one listed as a FIELDCREST and I'll go with that as I'm dating myself now, but I distinctly do remember FIELDCREST!!! lol The fabric is strong and sturdy, with many years of life remaining. I would encourage a GENTLE wash cycle simply because of the Pom-Poms and tumble dry on medium heat to soften the beautiful cotton. I did launder this item and sold the remaining, usable fabric as cutter pieces to a quilter. She was so excited to have this gorgeous fabric for her quilt. I checked carefully and found just 2 missing Pom-Poms. The last photo with yardstick shows a few tiny spots. Otherwise, she's a BEAUTY!! Gorgeous CABBAGE ROSES. DIMENSIONS ~ 80" W X 54" L This is displayed on a queen-size 60 W x 80 L mattress, and as you can see, it covers the better part of the mattress. Stored in a smoke-free/pet-free environment. My shipping charges are ACTUAL, not estimated. I am shipping this in a plastic bag inside of a box as a means of protecting the pom poms from the stress of the shipping process. It's VINTAGE, and they are not making any more of these so go EASY on those Pom-Poms.
