Description: This Reindeer was purchased at an Estate sale from an elderly German Couple, who were selling everything to move to a Senior home. They were somewhat unable to remember many things about the items they had for sale, except for the fact everything was very old, that is all they could tell me. This deer is very unusual and the info I have found out about it is a figure by Else Bach, 1936 from a very well-known Majolica Factory Karlsruhe...Germany so I am assuming from what they told me it is from Europe, many years ago. I have had it for about 4 years now myself. It is an excellent design by Else Bach from 1936 which became the prototype of the statuette of the German Film award called "Bambi".
