Vintage Fisher 202 Futura Series Am/FM Radio Receiver Powers & LIghts Up

Description: Item up for sale is a fantastic vintage am/fm stereo receiver manufactured in the mid 70's in Japan by Fisher Radio called the 202 Futura Series. Item is marked with a serial number of 13917. This piece was plugged in and when the selector knob is set to the AM or FM settings the dial lights up. The dial indicator moves as it should. All knobs and levers move as they should. Items has NOT been audio tested as we have nothing further to test it with so please purchase as if it may require adjustment or repair to function as intended. Receiver itself shows tarnish, patina and soiling consistent with age and use and could use a polish to surfaces and detail cleaning in the nooks and crannies. Power cord shows soiling with cord itself appearing functional. Interior photos are provided so please examine them carefully. One screw is missing on one side of the receiver metal casing. Metal body of the receiver shows soiling, patina and finish wear consistent with age and use. As with any vintage electronic piece this piece should be examined by a professional prior to attempted use. Receiver was found housed in a wooden exterior slip case. Bottom of the casing is constructed of particle / press board which shows wear from age and use. Body of the casing is pressed wood with wood veneer which shows wood wear and loss to edges and corners with surfaces showing scratches. Wood could use a heavy polish with no cracks or breaks. Metal grate on the exterior slip case shows some finish wear to the metal with metal showing some denting and concave areas consistent with age and use. If you desire the receiver and not necessarily the wooden slip case we can remove that for you and ship just the receiver. If you desire this option just purchase as you normally would and send us a message prior to payment and we will send you a revised invoice reflecting size and weight differences. Item (including exterior case) measures 5-3/4" top to bottom by 12-1/4" front to back (including knobs) by 16-1/8" wide.
