Description: Vintage Frederick Post Co. 1452w Universal Hemmi Slide Rule w/ Leather Case #45 This is a Japanese Bamboo Slide Rule made by Hemmi with the Frederick Post Co. brand. Bamboo was probably the best material to make slide rules. Bamboo rules show very little friction and no backlash. This makes for an easy to use accurate Slide Rule. This rule has 11 scales, K, D, (C, CI, B), A (4th picture) on the front and T, L & S (5th picture) on the rear. On one edge there is an inch ruler (10th picture) and a metric ruler (11th picture) on the other edge. A very nice brown leather case is included.
