Description: Vintage St. Amand Compote, Shallow Footed Bowl, Patisserie Dish, France This is a pretty compote or footed patisserie plate from the St. Amand factory in France. The dish has a delicate deep blue floral (tulip?) chain border. The compote measures about 9.25" in diameter. It is just over 2" tall overall. The plate is marked "St Amand" in a shield under a crown with "Ste Des Esablissements Ceramiques" and the number 4013. This compote is in very nice vintage condition with no cracks, chips, or repairs and only minor signs of use. Please see the photos to judge the quality and condition of this piece.
