Description: This is a vintage Friar / Monk lidded stein by Reinhold Merkelbach, circa 1964-1968. It was made in Germany. This stein measures approximately 7" tall and 4.5" wide. It features a friar / monk holding a bible and a beer. There are no chips or cracks. There are a few areas of minor paint loss, specifically on the back of the head and on the back / left side of the robe. It is relatively minor, and does not detract from the piece. There is also a small amount of discoloration on the metal area of the lid, just above the right side shoulder. This overall in very nice condition. Please review the photos.
