Vintage "Gone With The Wind" Phoenix Wild Rose Lamp, multicolored roses HTF.

Description: Vintage "Gone With The Wind" Phoenix Wild Rose Lamp. This Lamp does not have the original shade, however, I think this vintage diamond quilted milk glass student shade goes perfectly with it. It fits in the original 10" shade holder and is valued as high as the original shade. I submitted this lamp, without a shade, to the FB "Vintage Lamps and Lanterns" page and it was identified for me as follows: "The lamp with the raised roses is a Phoenix Lamp Company lamp , it is called Wild Roses , the shade would have the flower decals and the raised roses on it , too , look for that shade on the other sites that have orphaned pieces , it is a really nice one , usually they are just one color flowers , very pretty, the dates are around the 1900s they made lions head and cherub raised relief lamps also" My research based on this information led me to believe this lamp dates around 1940, possible earlier. These "Wild Rose" lamps came with either a round globe top or a 10" student shade, both would have had the raised roses and if applicable painted roses to match the base. I did find a few of the round ones for sale, but none of the student shades this one would have had, based on the shade holder which matches pictures of the originals. I love the look of this quilted milk glass shade though, and even considered keeping for myself, but I really have no room to display it, so I'm hoping someone else will love it as much as I do! All parts of this lamp work including all three settings(bottom light, top light, both lights). The cord and other electrical components are in great shape as well. I will leave the bottom bulb intact, but I make no guarantees it will be functional after shipping. The shade, chimney and top bulb will be removed for shipping, so they can be carefully wrapped and packaged. The shade is a 10" fitter and measures about 11" at widest point. Hight is 6.5" and it measures 5.25" across the ruffled top, with a 3.5" opening. The chimney is the standard 3" fitter, frosted glass standing 10" tall. There is a slight chip on the top rim of the chimney, this is barely noticeable and there are no cracks leading from it, so it should be fine.(SEE PHOTOS) You will also notice scrape marks in the frosted base, this is from inserting in and our of the base fitter, this is common, and not visible when the chimney is in place. I am willing to discuss replacing the chimney for an additional fee of $10, IF I have one that suites you better. but this must be decided before shipping, or there would be an additional fee to ship separately. Chimneys are fairly easy to find and pretty inexpensive, so don't let that worry you. This does ship in an oversized reinforced box, it will be very well packaged, and buyer will only pay actual shipping cost.
