Description: Vintage Green Loden Frey Velour Hat alleged to have belonged to Samuel Goldwyn of MGM This hat was given to me in the early 1960s by my great friend Leonard Borman.(Lookup Leonard Borman on ebay for info)The history of this hat goes back to the 1930s & 40s when Leonard was meeting and painting animals mainly dogs for very wealthy people of Southern CA & elsewhere.I'm not sure how but he happened to meet Samuel Goldwyn's chauffeur.The car pictured a 1935 Packard initially owned by Samuel Goldwyn of MGM.I'm guessing the car was probably given or sold to the chauffeur &later sold to LB.
