Description: Offered is a vintage Halloween lantern made of orange and black die cut cardboard with green tissue paper backing. I believe the lantern dates circa 1930-1950. It is decorated with Halloween witches, black cats, owls, crescent moon, Jack-o’-lantern, and spooky ghost. When folded and laid flat the lantern measures approximately. 11 by 10.5 inches. Each panel, alone , measures 5.5 inches wide.The lantern is marked “Made in U.S. AM.” Condition is fair, having wear commensurate with age and use. There is surface wear, including creasing of the cardboard, and a few small holes and tiny breaks in the green tissue paper. The lantern is missing its original wire bail handle and bottom frame.
