Description: Measures about 14" long and 6 1/2" high to top of head. Hand carved The Mallard duck shape is perfect with large bill and glass eyes. It looks like it had the standard Mallard green head at one time but since had been painted over with gold paint. Would be a good project for restoration and repaint. Or for the rustic look it is ready for the cabin mantle. It looks like there are some initials on the bottom which would belong to the carver. They are very faint and hard to determine. The duck is large solid and heavy.
