It is 4 1/2" - 4 3/4" in diameter at the base, 6 7/8" to 7 3/8" tall, and 11 1/2" - 12" in diameter. the walls vary in thickness, from about 3/8" to 1/2". The species is unknown. There are no splits, cracks or splinters. I have owned this for over 30 years. It is shipped in an over-sized box to prevent damage during shipping.
