Description: Description 13776 Vintage Stangl Pottery bird # 3408 "Bird of Paradise". Stangl Pottery was in production from 1929 until 1978 in New Jersey. They were known for their dinnerware and line of birds. The birds are very collectible today. This high gloss bird with wings spread on stump with flower and grass is done in greens, blues yellow and red. Bird is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or dings. The tip of one tail feather has been repaired. The base is stamped with the Stangl Pottery Birds mark in black and the birds number is marked in the base. Measures 5.25 inches from beak to back, 4.5 inches wing to wing and base is 3 inches by 4 inches.
